Northamptonshire membership organisation becomes a Friend of the Centre

We’re delighted to welcome NNBN as the East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre's latest Friend of the Centre.

NNBN is a membership organisation providing business support and mentoring, advertising and promotion, networking and making connections, benefits and perks, workshops and the NNBN Awards for businesses, charities and organisations based in Northamptonshire.

What makes the NNBN different?

The NNBN is all about Northamptonshire and is the face of the business community in the area. They focus solely on businesses within the boundary set out above and ensure members within the area are informed, engaged and up to date with what’s happening in the best interest of them and their business. They also keep members up to date with news, events and offers from our supporters of the NNBN.

What do you get as a member?

The benefits of memberships are split into two categories: benefits for individuals and benefits for your business. The great thing about their membership is it is all about connecting communities and supporting everyone.

Simon Cox, Managing Director of NNBN said of the appointment:

“We fully support the work of the East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre in working with businesses, charities and organisations to help reduce cyber crime and to show our commitment, we’re delighted to have become a Friend of the EMCRC.”

Colin Ellis, Managing Director and Police Delivery Lead at the EMCRC, added:

“The NNBN are a brilliant business membership organisation, constantly striving to serve and promote the interests of businesses in Northamptonshire.
Simon recognises the value of what the EMCRC can offer business as he understands the importance of businesses being resilient to online crime. I'm therefore delighted with the association and look forward to the CRC and NNBN working together in the future”.

Friends of the Centre are membership organsiations who want to help their members and community build their cyber resilience.

Our Friends organisations actively ask their members to join the EMCRC as they recognise that cyber resilience is an essential in today's digital world.

NNBN are another great addition to the EMCRC's Friends group, and it shows our ambition as a Centre that we wish to partner with outstanding businesses and organisations.

But our ambition doesn’t end there. We’re seeking the support of other distinguished businesses and motivational business leaders by joining us, not just as Friends of the Centre but also as Community Ambassadors, Community Members or Board members. We now have the scope for businesses to join us on various levels of affiliation.

If you would like to support our work and join our community, or feel you can bring equal skill, vision and ingenuity to the Centre in other areas, then please contact us via our website or contact Colin Ellis via his LinkedIn account.
